New Italian restaurant now open up in Kettering

The new eatery referred to as Venecia Italian Cafe in south Kettering is now open up.

The new restaurant is located at 1980 E. Whipp Highway just west of Even bigger Street, in the creating that beforehand housed McGillicutty’s Pub.

Venecia is open for lunch and dinner six days a week. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday by means of Sunday, shut on Mondays.

A new eatery named Venecia Italian Restaurant in south Kettering traces its roots to an additional Italian cafe in north Kettering.

Venecia Italian Cafe is gearing up to open up in the next 7 days or two at 1980 E. Whipp Street just west of Even larger Highway, in the building that formerly housed McGillicutty’s Pub. Its founders are the spouse-and-wife crew of Arsim and Tina Aliu and users of their loved ones, some of whom worked for quite a few years at Jimmy’s Italian Kitchen on Woodman Generate near East Dorothy Lane. Jimmy’s was launched by Arsim Aliu’s brother-in-regulation it was offered to new ownership in 2014.

“We are back in Kettering,” Arsim Aliu said.

Venecia will serve lunch and supper Tuesday via Sunday, closed on Mondays. The menu involves a huge wide variety of pizzas and pasta dishes, as very well as sub sandwiches, calzones/stromboli, New York-design rolls, salads, appetizers and desserts. Interior seating is readily available, as is carryout.

The pasta dishes include spaghetti, ziti, lasagna, manicotti, ravioli and stuffed shells. Dinner entrees also contain Fettucine Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, Gnocchi, Pierogies, Eggplant Rollatini, Chicken Primavera, Veal Cutlet Parmigiana and Linguini with white or crimson clam sauce.

Sub sandwiches consist of meatball parmesan, sausage parmesan, ham and cheese, salami and cheese, and Philly steak and cheese. Desserts include things like baklava, cheesecake, cannoli and tiramisu.

McGillicutty’s Pub shut its doors in December 2018 after 24 several years, and the space has been vacant because.
