Eight trucks, live music to be featured on four Wednesday evenings through Aug. 3

Crowds gathered on July 13 for the first night of the Menands Food Truck Festival. It will be held 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through Aug. 3 at Ganser-Smith Memorial Park. Live music will be performed each week.

MENANDS — The village is sponsoring the Summer Food Truck Festival, being held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on four Wednesdays, from July 13 to Aug. 3, at Ganser-Smith Memorial Park. Live music will be performed each week.
There will be up eight trucks, according to the village’s clerk, Don Handerhan, including Burger 21 (burgers), Buena Comida (Mexican street food/tacos), Bull and Basil (wood-fired pizza), Two for the Road (Italian-American), Grafoodi (grill items), Greta’s Gourmet (homemade ice cream sandwiches) and Mr. Ding-a-Ling (ice cream).
The music schedule: July 13, Six Mile Sundown; July 20, Big Radio; July 27, Rich Ortiz; Aug. 3, Big Radio.
The park is at 53 Menand Road.
