Leonardo DiCaprio, Camila Morrone purchased Italian meals in the North Stop

Leonardo DiCaprio has largely held a reduced profile considering the fact that arriving in Boston to film the Adam McKay Netflix comedy “Don’t Glance Up.” But DiCaprio and girlfriend Camila Morrone ended up briefly in the community eye on New Year’s Eve when they visited the North Conclude to decide on up the makings of a hearty Italian feast.

DiCaprio, Morrone, and a single other female visited Table Mercato on Thursday afternoon, loading up on pastas, sauces, home made potato chips, fig jam, and other goods from owner Jen Royle’s Italian store. Royle, who operates Table Mercato and the adjoining Italian cafe Table, claimed DiCaprio was 1 of the very first buyers to at any time call for a basket to haul all of his products, which she guessed was for a remain-at-dwelling food.

“They’re staying in, no one’s going to evening meal on New Year’s Eve,” Royle explained to Boston.com Saturday afternoon. “They almost certainly just required to load up on stuff, shut the blinds, and prepare dinner.”

Royle claimed she was hectic performing in the basement of the keep when DiCaprio and Morrone arrived as a result of, but said the store’s personnel and prospects acknowledged the actor.

“The folks in the keep reported he just had the bluest eyes they’d ever found,” Royle explained. “You couldn’t mistake him for any person else, even with the mask.”

Considering the fact that kicking off creation on “Don’t Appear Up” in late November, DiCaprio and other solid customers have filmed all about Massachusetts, most notably on Dec. 1 at South Station, when stars he and co-star Jennifer Lawrence filmed scenes on an Acela train.

“Don’t Seem Up” has also filmed at the Museum of High-quality Arts Boston, at Wheaton University in Norton, at Salisbury Seaside, the DCU Middle in Worcester, Battleship Cove in Slide River, and Union Level in Weymouth. Filming is envisioned to continue as a result of at least mid-February.

In the film, Lawrence and DiCaprio play a pair of astronomers who explore that an asteroid is on a collision class for earth. When they commence to talk publicly about the imminent threat, they locate that no just one will acquire their dire warnings of impending doom seriously.

Alongside the the duo, “Don’t Glance Up” stars Cate Blanchett (“Carol”), Rob Morgan (“Mudbound”), Meryl Streep (“The Iron Lady”), Jonah Hill (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Himesh Patel (“Yesterday”), Timothée Chalamet (“Little Women”), Matthew Perry (“Friends”) Tomer Sisley (“We’re the Millers”), singer Ariana Grande, and rapper Child Cudi.
