Village Trattoria, a highly favored New Jersey spot for Italian American food and pizza, has been around since 1992. The family run shop is fueled by a simple love of quality food and an immense love of community. During the restaurant’s 28 years of business, the community members of Maplewood, NJ have become loyal customers to the Trattoria. Similarly, the family behind Village Trattoria holds their community extremely close to their hearts.
In the time of COVID-19, running a small business, especially a local restaurant has not been easy. Luckily, Maplewood locals have been in need of their Italian fix and Village Trattoria has been there to provide through takeout and delivery.
It has certainly been a team effort to keep things running so smoothly. A team effort that has included local marketing and advertising agency The ZAP Group. The team at ZAP has been helping to enhance the digital presence of The Village Trattoria. Their updated website, Facebook, and Instagram have been curated to showcase their delicious menu, inform patrons of hours and dishes, and provide a glimpse behind the scenes. A look at the current platforms now conveys the wide variety of menu items, their welcoming ambiance, and friendly service.
Perhaps, the best part of all the new changes is that the process of revamping media assets provided the restaurant an opportunity to give back. Last Tuesday, December 29th a photo shoot took place to adequately capture the restaurant’s wonderful essence. Every dish on the menu was made and the Maplewood essential workers reaped the benefits. All of the food was donated to the Maplewood Fire and Police departments.
The Village Trattoria has been about community since the days of their inception. Amidst a time of so much uncertainty, it means so much to the restaurant that they are able to give back to a community that has always supported them.
