(JTA) — French law enforcement have arrested an Algerian gentleman they say declined to provide Jewish-owned corporations simply because of anti-Semitic discrimination though functioning as a foodstuff courier in Strasbourg.

The person, Dhia Edine D., is an unlawful immigrant, the French lawmaker Meyer Habib wrote Wednesday on Twitter. Earlier this 7 days, Edine D. allegedly informed staff from two kosher dining places that he does “not serve Jews” and as a result is canceling their purchase with Deliveroo, the on the web supply services for which he was doing the job.

A Deliveroo France spokesperson advised the Jewish Telegraphic Company that his business is wanting into the scenario, which was described to police, and doing the job with law enforcement.
