Gastropub Productions, a new cafe team by McCord Enhancement led by chef Justin Turner, will formally open its initially two restaurants Friday in northeast Houston’s Era Park development.
Bocca Italian Kitchen area and Lupo Pizzeria will open at Redemption Sq. in areas formerly occupied by Healthful Kitchen & Pies. Technology Park is a 4,200-acre progress of Houston-dependent McCord with office, retail, industrial, residential and hospitality parts in the vicinity of Beltway 8 and West Lake Houston Parkway.

Turner, finest regarded as the creator of Bernie’s Burger Bus and a winner on the Food stuff Network’s “Chopped” clearly show, has turned his target to Italian classics at Bocca and New York-style pizza at Lupo Pizzeria. Bernie’s Burger Bus shut all of its destinations across Houston last calendar year owing to COVID.
“We’re fired up to open our doorways officially and welcome the group to Bocca + Lupo,” Gastropub Director of Hospitality Justin Turner reported in an announcement.
The places to eat, at 250 Assay St., be a part of Bibo’s Bistro, Quite Small Issues Boutique and BB&T. McCord will soon open up Eden Salon Suites, a further in-property venture, in the Redemption Square way of living district of Technology Park.
